Looking To The Future

I'm slowly getting things going around here. I put up links for the extras section that will hold the "Making Of" and "FanArt" sections one day. The actual extras page doesn't exist yet... ^^;; We do have our first fanart, by our good friend Michelle of Neo-Olympus. It's beautiful. I'll have it scanned and posted soon. *crosses fingers* No word yet on when we'll get the new Storyline going. The first page is designed. I don't have the inked and and full-color character designs done yet, but we have the pencil sketches and all colors written down, so we can start without them. One character isn't done yet, but she won't come in for a while, so it's okay. So actually, our biggest hold-back right now is the lack of a name for the new storyline. We're working on it, and any suggestions would be appreciated. -- I guess that covers things on that.

Story time! Glitter and I watched an old cult-classic Thursday night, Wizards (1977). Heh. I grew up watching that, The Last Unicorn, and Flight of Dragons as my favorite 3 movies. Looking back, I'm not sure how appropriate Wizards is for a 9 or 10 year old, but hey, I've always been odd. It was Glitter's first time seeing it. (Note: everyone should watch this movie at least once.) I think it was a bit of a shocker. It's graphic in it's own way, but not that much. Overall, irt's just very strange, a category in itself. Anyways we were joking later about her telling her grandkids one day about this fucking weird old movie she watched once back in college. And she told me she probably wouldn't use the word "fuck" around her grandkids. "Sure you would." Slang will have changed by then, they'd have no idea what it meant." - I told her. Anyways, we started trying to figure out what slang curse words there would be for 'fuck' in the future. Not being terribly creative at the time all we could figure was they wouldn't be using "fudge", cause hey, fudge will always exist. And not "frag" 'cause well, "to frag" is to kill someone from a station above you. I.E. That soldier just fragged the general! And for those of you curious, 'slag' is to kill one of equal or lesser station. I.E. That guy just slagged the president. j/k ^_~ So anyway... I was wondering what people thought would be future curse-word slang, or future slang period. Hmm... In my possible future slang box... 'burn' - to copy, from everyone burning cds. Eh... That's all I've got...

Oooo, pretty........

Fwoosh!! Hee-hee. Is it just me or is Lycorne's art getting better? Nope, not just me. Mega-kudos to Ly-chan for all her hard work. I contribuite where I can but my lack of drawing ability kinda limits me. She is definitly the greater among our little triumvirate of equals.

Due to work and school I havn't been able to see Glitter and Lycorne as much recently but I'm most definitly going to have to change that. I'll make Lycorne let me help if I have to pick her up by her pointy ears!! (Um, that is to say, I'll ask, nicely, very nicely-- please don't fwoosh those wings my way...) Anyway, story of this is that the three of us simply think TOO much alike. Glit-chan and I, without looking at each other, without planning, both pulled the little wings motion complete with sound effect. This was immediatly followed by hysterical laughter. Eh, maybe it was one of those have to be there things. :p

I had auditions last Thursday! Don't think I got anything (kinda a good thing as rehersals would interfere with work) as this was the first time the casting guy had ever seen me. It was more a "Hey! This is me!" So, we'll see but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I actually don't have a lot to say-- life's been a bit routine lately, much to my dismay. Work, School, Work, School... eat? sleep? what are those? (Ducks as both Lycorne and Chris send LOOKS my way) Perhaps tis time for another 3 am trip to the Graveyard... yeah, that sounds good...
