We are so fscking dead...

^_^ Ackies.... Long night... Er, Morning... Something. Glitter, Rhys and I got together around 8pm Thursday to work on character designs for the new storyline, as of yet unnamed. Basically, the anime club's getting super-powers, anime style... But twisted. Yeah... Odd. Then we're just gonna have fun from there. We worked from about 8pm to 4:30am... We never argued over any of it, just easily found general consensus... We have 10.5 characters designed. I mean, sketches, costumes down to every detail, colors, powers, weaknesses, etc. We got it all down. And that .5? Well Ashendarei is really just a half a character by comparison to the other 10. A very cute character though! ^_^ *Huggles the Ashendarei*
We went through three pots of coffee and who knows what else, we played in a heavy thunderstorm... We had fun. ^_^ And Supernova Girl is the official song for working on the new story, hands down. We all sat there and sang it a million and a helf times while working last night. Theme song! *^_^*
As for the rant title? Yeah. These characters are our friends. We've given them powers and costumes. And well... Some of them might not be too pacafistic about the design. But y'know what? Our comic, so XP ! Heh heh heh. And many of the costume details have so many references, we have to make a Making Of page too. ^_^

Holy Floating Shoes, Batman!

We had soooooo much fun coming up with character designs last night...err...this morning. We started designing at about 8:00pm last night. Started off pretty basic...with a character sketch. Dave went first...heh heh. Lycorne-chan did a GREAT job on the costume!!! And that's all I'm saying on that. My character was next. Again...costume is fabulous!!!! Took a while to figure out a name, though, and we still don't have a major weakness yet...but I KNOW it's coming-it'll just take a little time :) And I LOVVVVVEEEEEE my little Ashendarei!!!!! It's so KAWAIIIIIIII!!!!!!!! I want to get a plushie made!!! :D Happy, Happy!!! Rhys-chan's design was next, followed by Kyndig's, Lycorne's, Matt's, Beau's, Stephen's, and finally Jana and Michelle's. They all look great!!! I think the coffee started kicking in around the time we started on Mizoyu's costume. Gotta love those bows! I just hope we won't get hurt too bad....note to self: make vacation plans.

Anyway! Three pots of coffee, one rain storm, and one floating shoe later (don't ask) we were done! From the way things are now, this is going to be a great comic (please excuse shameless plug). We've already got several story ideas written up and more just keep coming! Check this site later for more updates!!! Whee!!!!!!! Zoom, zoom, zoom.......

Wimps. Can't seem to take a 4:30 in the morn brainstorming session. (j/k guys!) Ayya, did we get a lot done! And listened to Supernova Girl again, and again and again...... I did manage to download some Juno Reactor (kick-a techno group) onto Ly-chan's computer. (da, da, dum..... I'm not doing anything...... really!)

All the character designs are amazing. Naturally I'm pleased about Kyndig's (and I was picky as anything!) and my own....... 'tis a punked out goth dragon!! Hee-- good job Lycorne, you got me down to the T.

Before, after and in between the dragging the other two of our little triumvirate out into the rain (and chasing down a shoe), each of us downing about a pot of coffee each, and the nearly deadly laughter over the "Bows", I think the evening/morn turned out to be just a tad bit productive. Yeah, just a bit.
Hey, you two ready for another session?

On a personal note, Kyndig and I went to Tallasee to se a couple of old friends of his tonight... I think I scared one of them. Oops. Did get in some wonderful WoT discussion though. By the way, Kyndig, the next line is for you.
