Dakku... I'm such a bum. Expect the return of weekly updates. Classes are hard, but... I'm doing my best. I dunno which class I get the most laughs from, Dr. Dozier and Dr. Umphress (Because they're really cool and fun teachers who like to make jokes) or Computer Ethics (humor inherent in the course title). Well, not really. Actually Comp Ethics is pretty neat. I'd forgotten that I used to love debate back in the day. Current Anime Addiction: FullMetal Alchemist Current Manga Addiction: Dragon Knights and Planet Ladder Current Book Read: Just finished A Kiss of Shadows by Laurell K. Hamilton, not my usual style, but it caught my interest around the halfway point. (Chris/Kyn-Kyn loaned it to me.) I still say the book ended like a weekly TV show, reading the last chapter I could hear in the back of my head, "And here's the story so far... Tune in next week for the ending!" *kicks Ms. Hamilton* That's no way to end a book! Series or no! Is it Rita Repulsa back for another go at the Earth? No!! It's Queen Beryl making her bid for world dominance. Can you tell what I've gotten hooked on lately? No? Well let's just say that, in spite of myself, I've taken a liking to the Sailor Moon Live Action tv show. At first, I just downloaded it to point out all that was inherently wrong with it (sequins do NOT belong on the generals' uniforms, thankyou...and their hair is all wrong!! what have they done to them!?!) but then I just got hooked. They're following the manga more than they are the anime, so I'm interested in how it will turn out. They're also throwing in a couple of originals (like Mamoru having a fiance...a girl he's known since childhood). I don't know how I feel about that yet...I'll have to wait and see what they decide to do with it. Anyhoo. I haven't been feeling well lately. I think I have a cold and my back has been hurting a lot. Combine that with constant assignments and work due and you get my totally exhausting last few weeks (or should I say term so far).
