Since the keenspace breakdown, they've had so many page errors, the main servers were getting overloaded, so we now can have personalized 403, 404, and 500 error pages. So I've made some cute ones for ADVinAU/6Lefts. Enjoy. ^_^
Registration was yesterday. I got the classes I wanted, so go me. I was thinking that would bethe high point of my week. Not much of one since I've never had much trouble getting my classes, I plan these things well. However, since my 'net had been down since Tuesday, I had to get up at 6:15 to get to a computer lab on campus to register at 7am. Then, due to canceled classes, I wasn't in class until 10am, which the teacher was almost 20 minutes late to. Dr. Teirlinck's course if you'll remember last weeks comic. We had to walk out on him 5 minutes after class ended and he was still teaching. My next class wasn't until noon. At least he showed up on time. *sigh* Add to that, Monday I had a midterm, Thursday, Northcutt called me at 1pm to demand I remove the couch sitting in front of Beau, Ashley, and I's apartments by Friday morning, It was raining, and the cancelled class, since it was cancelled, required us to turn in three programming assignments by 9am Friday. And my cousin Fitzgerald is in the hospital in Gadsen, in a great deal of pain due to an impacted colon. I found that out right before club Tuesday. And today I got a forwarded e-mail from Burk, his son, saying "he was just asking God to take him on because he couldn't take it anymore" on Wednesday. This was not shaping out to be a good week. Thank the gods for my friends. Stephen volunteered to take the couch, Jay brought over his truck to help move it, and my 'net miraculously reconnected itself after I made an appointment for the Charter guys to come look at it Monday. Then, this afternoon, Stephen hung out with me some, then Michelle and I wandered some shops on main street Auburn, then Michelle, Ashley and I went to see "Bringing Down the House", a rather good movie, on the way to the movie, Dave called to invite me to sushi, I couldn't go 'cause I was doing the movie thing with Ashley and Michelle, but it felt nice to be invited. Then we hoped over to Matt and Dave's place to play DDR until 1am. Little pick-me-ups like that, I've really needed them today, thank you. I'm really lucky to have you guys around. Hopefully everything else will improve too. Safe Journeys, |
This is, or will be, me this weekend. I stayed up most of Thrusday night and Friday morning finishing a paper for my qualitative class. All in all, I drank 6 cups of coffee and slept for 3 hours before I had to leave for classes in the morning. Needless to say, Glitter is TIRED. On the up side, I don't have to do an outline this week for my persuasion class! Yay! On the down side, we have a test in that class on Thrusday. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend and the rest of this week -_-, Hope everyone's having a good week! Peace, Love, and Bishies! |
Sunlight is horrible. It does bad things to our bodies, is caused by a form of nuclear reaction, and, frankly, it's too damn bright!! Why, why, WHY can't I be nocturnal? 6 Lefts is coming along. What with all the work in theatre/classes/etc, meeting to discuss has been rare. We'll have the next pages up soon... promise! Been working my wings off in theatre... happily so. It means my apartment is beyond a mess (read: bring in condemning crew) but the run ends March 1. I just hope it doesn't take a small army to clean it up though. Speaking of army (and all things military), I do not know about anyone else, but I've been getting worried about the escalation of this lovely little war we're in. I am FIRMLY against the draft (it's that whole independance and free-will thing) so all the news I've been hearing in that direction sincerly disturbs me. This entire buisness gives me a bad feeling. Here's hoping for sanity in the higher-ups. On a lighter note, Ly-chan, Glit-chan, and I actually caught ourselves enjoying a Taiwan soap-opera today... Oooooo, live bishies. :) On Dragon's Wings, |
