Many thanks to Glit-chan for the holiday filler page. It's lovely. I hope she doesn't mind my water-marking it with her name and the 6L logo. And Rhys, no worries about the last 6L page, I knew you had it finished, but I never came by to get it before I left town. It's my bad. Not yours. And... *huggles Rhys-chan* I'm gonna kick the Hawk-boy's decieving ass if I EVER see him again. Anyways, my holiday's going pretty well. I had a lotta fun hanging out with Jenni-ni-chan, Bre-chan, Shaina-chan, and Aaron-chan last night. It was soo much fun! And we did not ride through the backroads hanging out the windows and the trunk of Ni-chan's car. Really... And we certainly didn't make Peter Pan crowing noises while riding through Aaron's neighborhood, or get replying crows from his neighbors. Nope nope. Right Bre-chan? *pretends not to see the pic of Bre standing up in the open trunk of the moving car, or me sitting with my legs covering the liscence plate.* Yup. Perfectly innocent. (I wish we had pictures... Of that stuff we didn't do. ^_~) I'm looking forward to tommorrow, not for what I'm getting, but to seeing my family's faces when they get the presents I got for them. I love giving presents. ^_^ For those of you on LiveJournal, all three of us are on LJ, and you'll find that our animated gifs at the bottom of each rant column link to our LJs. ^_^ Also, our names link as a way to e-mail each of us. LotF is having a New Year's contest, be sure to check it out. I want lotsa participants; the more creative, the better. Safe Journeys, |
Well, it's that time of year again! :) Hope everyone is having a blast on break...hanging out with relatives, friends, or just kicking back--whatever's your forte. We had Christmas with my Dad's side of the family Sunday night, which kinda pissed me off. See, normally, we've always had lunch with my Dad's family on Christmas Eve. It's been like that since and before I came into this world. Well, the breaking of that tradition kinda got to me this year. It was changed because my cousin's new husband has to work Christmas Eve (he's a store manager) and they wanted to be there, so the date got changed. I REALLY wanted them to be there, too. I love them! :) It's just that breaking tradition kinda nudged me the wrong way. I dunno. Just did. Normally I wouldn't care, but this is a special case I guess. Just didn't seem like Christmas. Ah well. Over and done with. I've been working non-stop, too. The other day I was working in the green house ( I work at a plant nursery...and let me note that it was my first time working out in the green house), weeding plants. Well, the first plants I was told to work on were the seigo/saygo (sp?) palms. I think they were out to get me...really, I do. They have these nice pointy leaves, whose ends can pierce through gardening gloves. Needless to say, I had little poke marks all over my hands and wrists by the time I finished. Other than that, it was rather enjoyable working out there. Anyway. Happy Holidays everyone! :) Peace, Love, and Bishies! |
Yep, I'm officially alone. (More can be read at my LiveJournal) 6.6 billion people in the world and I found one that decided to hurt me. I'm actually glad of the situation though. (LONG convoluted story) I'm wiser now, I've managed to keep from being too jaded, and I'd rather be shown the fool and learn than be blissfully ignorant. Being single is interesting... I havn't done this in awhile. Mega-Kudos to Kyndig for the incredible care he's been giving throughout my being sick (relasped 4 times) and all my heartache. An Aiel gesture to ya Chris. You know, I actually have a color version of the new 6 Lefts. As soon as I can get my scanner up and running (and connected to the net!) I'll get it to Ly-Chan. *hides under wings* I owe a big THANK YOU to all of you (you know who you are) who have been helping me out so much recently. You each brought back to me a piece of my heart that had been scattered and worked to put it all back together. I love you all. I really do. On Dragon's Wings, |
