Thanksgiving week has not been pleasant. The night before the day before Thanksgiving my Aunt called from the hospital, she was in there for heart problems, I didn't know until the next day when I picked my Mom up from Fran's house anything that was going on but that. I then learned that she had been having chest pains, went to the hospital, they ran tests, and pronounced her okay. There's a history of heart attacks in my family, so, scary not quite 24 hours for me. Seems like my family keeps trying to die on me. They've been doing it all semester. I visited with several, they've all been confirmed alive and stable for the time being. *collapses* Okay. I can deal a little easier now. I can't thank Neph, Jenni, Bre, and Shaina enough for cheering me up. There will be no explinations of the title, those that know, just smile and laugh. I know you want to. Those that don't, we will never speak of it. Safe Journeys, |
It's Thanksgiving Break! Finally! I've been fed up with all the stuff I've had to do. There was the whole mess with Graduate School and presentations. Anyway, now I have 2 papers and a program to write before we get off break. Oh joy. Can to tell I'm excited? No? Well, join the club. :P On another note, my computer came in! Yay! The only bad things are that the front of the case is cracked (which they are replacing) and that the Hard Drive doesn't work. Why does this stuff always happen to me?

Arguments with the ID are always amusing (say that three times fast...). How else can you argue with yourself and lose? :) Whatever little "life-lessons diety" has been controlling my life recently needs to adjust the skill level. Things have been getting TOO interesting. My old fiancee and I got back together, yet Kyndig and I are wonderfully comfortably close still, family is the same stress as ever, school has me mummy-wrapped in red tape, and oh, yeah, I lost my job on my 20th birthday. Yet somehow, someway, life is really good right now!! (Ahh, the paradoxial life of a college student) "To Life, To Life, L'Chaim..."
